Six Sigma Green Belt & Black Belt Training


TRAINING OUTLINE
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Become a certified six sigma green belt in just 10 weeks or a certified six sigma black belt in just 20 weeks, one day every other week in class and one day homework per session (applying six sigma to your company)!  Learn how to make your company more profitable through six sigma initiatives.  The outline for this practical certification will be:                                                                  

  1.  INTRODUCTION-- Brief History, Six Sigma Explanation, DMAIC, Systems & Processes, Six Sigma Structure, SWOT analysis, Customers, QFD, Benchmarking, ROI, Payback, Quality Costs, Working in Teams, Project Management

  2.  DEFINE & MEASURE METHODOLOGIES-- Project Scope, Project Charter, Problem Statement, Process Definintion, Process Mapping, Six Sigma Metrics, Balanced Metrics, Technical vs. Transactional Metrics, Collecting & Summarizing Data,  SPC, Process Capability

  3.  MEASURE & ANALYZE METHODOLOGIES-- Measurement Systems Analysis, Quality Tools, Data Analysis, Transaction Analysis, Failure Mode & Effects Analysis

  4.  IMPROVEMENT METHODOLOGIES-- Lean Manufacturing & Design of Experiments

  5.  CONTROL METHODOLOGIES-- Management, Training, Documentation , Auditing/Monitoring, and Mistake/Error Proofing

  6.  GREEN BELT CERTIFICATION TEST

  7.  BLACK BELT DEFINE & MEASURE-- Benchmarking Practices, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Seven Management & Planning Tools, Probability & Statistics

   8.  BLACK BELT ANALYZE--                               Multivari Studies, Correlations, Hypothesis Testing, & NonNormal Distributions

    9.  BLACK BELT IMPROVE--                    Design of Experiments/EVOP & DFSS

  10.  BLACK BELT CONTROL--              Advanced SPC & Other Controls

  11.  BLACK BELT CERTIFICATION TEST

Fees will be $3750 for black belts and $1875 for green belts.
